Our journey began in 2015, when Founder, Sinead Connolly, saw a gap in the recruitment industry for an agency that truly prioritised integrity, transparency and authentic relationships. Sinead believed recruitment was about more than just filling roles - it was about connecting organisations with professionals who could thrive and make a lasting impact. This belief laid the foundation for what Lotus People is today: an award-winning, human-first recruitment agency.
The lotus flower, which symbolises "a rebirth of ideas" in Buddhism, became the perfect symbol for our vision. Much like the lotus rises through water to bloom, we wanted to bring fresh thinking and genuine care to an industry that often focuses on numbers over people. This philosophy of reinvention and integrity guides our approach to recruitment, ensuring we remain focused on meaningful, lasting connections.
