Having moved to Sydney in 2012, Michelle started working in business support recruitment in 2014. With a background in administration and a diploma in customer engagement, it was a natural next step for her, combining her organisational skills with a passion for helping people and building meaningful client relationships. Michelle joined Lotus People in 2017, and after seven successful years in the temporary division, her natural ability in building partnerships and supporting clients’ long-term success led her to progress to Director of Strategic Partnerships.

In this role, Michelle focuses on adding value to existing clients and developing new partnerships by connecting closely with businesses and hiring managers to understand how Lotus People can meet their evolving needs. Her dedication to client care has earned her recognition as Recruiter Insider’s Best Consultant for Client Experience in both 2022 and 2023, with a 98% candidate retention rate.

Outside of work, you’ll find Michelle exploring Sydney’s Inner West with her Great Dane, Kalou, or relaxing at home with her cat, Tony
