Even if you have been lucky enough to live your life without being ghosted on a romantic level, there is absolutely no way I would believe that as a recruiter you have been lucky enough to have lived through your career without being ghosted on a professional level.
Whether it’s an interview with a candidate, or a candidate interviewing with a client, all of us recruiters have likely experienced the “No Show”.
Being in this fast paced and never dull industry for two years has taught me how much honesty is so appreciated and valued and I implore everyone to revert to honesty when in the midst of a job search.
If a job isn’t for you, if you are no longer interested in looking for work, if you have found a role with another agency, if you just have cold feet, then speak up! We are all human, we have compassion, we understand!
Lotus people always have your best interest at heart, and that is one of the many things I love about working here! If you are engaging with an agency, remember that it’s a mutually respectful relationship and honesty and trust should go both ways.
